In your e-mail, provide your name, certificate number, category and a short caption. Submit your photo in one of these four categories: 1. My Pride and Joy -- Show us your boat 2. On the Water -- Snapshots of nature's beauty 3. Safety is Fun! -- Examples of safe boating in action 4. Squadron Scenes -- Showcase USPS members enjoying squadron events, meetings and socials. Contest rules The contest is open to all amateur or professional photographers who are also USPS members. Each contestant may submit up to four entries. Your contest entry constitutes an agreement to allow your photos and identification to be used in any USPS publication or website. All photographs used by USPS will carry a photographer’s credit. Photos should be at least 1500 x 1000 pixels or at least 3 x 5 inches at 300 dpi. Photographs should not be digitally altered except for enhancement by cropping, color or contrast adjustment, and dust removal, etc. Otherwise altered images will be disqualified. Scans of nondigital photos can also be submitted. Photographers must hold rights to the photo, and any identifiable people must be available to sign a release form if one was not previously obtained.
